1. What GlucoMom is

GlucoMom is a web application for recording blood sugar readings and meals during pregnancy, estimating the carbohydrate in a meal from a photo or from a food library, and preparing a weekly summary to take to your doctor.

It replaces the notebook your doctor asked you to keep. It does not replace your doctor.

2. Medical notice

GlucoMom is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not recommend insulin or any other medicine or dose.

Carbohydrate figures are estimates given as a range. Portion size cannot be known exactly from a photo, and values change with how food is cooked. Use them as a guide, not as fact.

A number read from a glucometer screen is always shown to you for confirmation. You are responsible for checking it against the device.

Community figures describe other people. Blood sugar responses differ from person to person, and they are not advice.

Always follow your doctor's instructions. Decisions about food, medicine and treatment are yours and your doctor's.

In an emergency, do not rely on the app. Contact your doctor or the emergency services.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate details. Keep your password private; anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

One account per person. You may not share an account or use another person's.

4. Free and subscription plans

Free: unlimited blood sugar logging, 3 photo scans a day, the last 7 days of your meal diary, and the public food pages.

Subscription: everything in the free plan, plus unlimited photo scans, your full history, the weekly doctor report (PDF), aggregate statistics and meal suggestions.

Blood sugar logging is free and will stay free. Your own medical record is never put behind a paywall.

A scan that returns no result (no food in frame, or too unclear to judge) does not count against the daily allowance.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for payments. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period already paid for, and no further charge is made.

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as set out in the refund policy. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right of withdrawal under the law of your country, are not affected.

Subscriptions are sold monthly (8 US dollars a month) or for three months. The price and currency shown at checkout are what you pay.

We may change prices for future periods with reasonable notice inside the app. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

6. Acceptable use

The community section is for sharing experiences, questions and recipes. It is not a place for medical advice.

Do not tell another user what medicine or dose to take, do not share anyone's personal details, do not advertise, and do not post content that is abusive, misleading or unlawful.

Anyone can report a post. Reported posts are hidden and reviewed; we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Do not try to break into the service, scrape it, overload it, or use it on behalf of anyone other than yourself.

7. Content and intellectual property

GlucoMom, its design, texts and food library belong to Yusuf Demir or its licensors. You may use them only within the app.

What you record stays yours. You give us the permission needed to store it, show it back to you, prepare your report, and include it in anonymous aggregate figures as described in the privacy policy.

8. Limitation of liability

GlucoMom is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that estimates are correct or that the service will be uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for harm that results from relying on an estimate, a reading shown in the app or a community figure, or from a decision taken without consulting a doctor.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Your data is deleted immediately.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where that is reasonable. An active subscription is refunded for the unused period unless the closure was caused by a serious breach.

We may discontinue the service with at least 30 days' notice, during which you can download your reports.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and disputes are heard by the competent courts of Türkiye.

If you live in another country as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country still apply, and you may bring a claim there.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Important changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use GlucoMom after that date means you accept the new terms.
